My Professional Development
My experience as a professional ,,, first speak of my experience as an English student, I can say that from the theoretical and practical was not lucky enough to find a teacher who could mention here in a positive sense but every experience is before all that experience, which already is positive. That is, there are experiences that teach us how to act, others that teach us how we should not do so, although it sounds daunting, in my experience with English will take care to describe what I learned that I should never do in my class now I'm going to devote to teaching. I learned that the two most demotivating things for me in the learning process are the lack of knowledge of material by the professor and his indifference to the teaching / learning process and, therefore, before the results of that process. I have to admit that in many cases the social, labor and economic context did not favor too development and professional conduct of teachers but inevitably arose comparison between the teaching of the two languages, Spanish and English, which also was It is performing parallel and in the same context. It is clear that the teacher can not know everything and has the right to make mistakes and to doubt, or to know the answer to a question; the knowledge is extended and deepened with the years of experience, but what should not be done in any case is to pretend, knowing what you do not know, afraid to admit it, invent the answers or indignant going to the "blacklist" students "too curious". So I learned that not knowing is not the problem, the problem is not wanting to know. Therefore, in my develop class strategies such "uncomfortable" situations: behave naturally, confess sincerely that I know the answer without giving too much importance to the matter and start looking (to look the word in the dictionary, for example) along with students if possible and if not, promise to find her. During my university education, I have changed my perception of the learning process and my learning style and certainly the methodology, psychological and professional picture of a teacher depends on a variety of factors, many of which are external and impossible to change at any given time so that my class I have as purpose has to do with methodology, teaching, research and motivation to make a positive impression on students and achieve reflection, experience, intuition, infer, predict, memorize, listen, watch, and work in group and individually because in the course of my training as a professional I have the certainty that depending on the attitude taken by the teacher to the material with cent much changes the perception of it by students. When a student starts studying a foreign language, not only takes good language skills and expand knowledge of culture, literature, history and geography of foreign language study, but also reinforces and deepens their knowledge of their native language (phonetics, grammar, vocabulary and syntax) of this eagerness to always reinforce my maternal student league of ants enter fully into an English lesson arises.
